OUR COTTAGE
Step inside Myrtle Cottage and feel instantly at home.
Full of character and charm, the cottage is stylishly decorated with a warm blend of modern comforts and antique pieces. Parquet floors with soft rugs and beamed ceilings throughout create a welcoming and timeless atmosphere.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is the heart of the home, centred around a rustic old pine breakfast table with seating for six.
It’s fully equipped with everything you need, including an induction hob, two ovens, dishwasher, tall fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and a TV – ideal for relaxed family mornings. For those who enjoy cooking, as well as fresh herbs in the garden, there are even complimentary herbs, spices, oils and vinegars (Cayenne Pepper, Cinnamon, Ground Coriander, Coriander Seeds, Chinese 5 Spice, Crushed Chillies, Ground Cumin, Cumin Seeds, Curry Powder, Dill, Fennel Seeds, Garam Masala, Ground Ginger, Mixed Herbs, Paprika, Oregano, Smoked Paprika & Turmeric, as well as Shaoxing Wine, White & Red Wine Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Olive Oil, Vegetable Oil and Soy Sauce).

The sitting room is the perfect cosy retreat after a long day.
With two large three-seater sofas and tapestry-covered armchairs, perfect for curling up by the open fire or enjoying a movie night on the TV. The dining room adds a touch of elegance, featuring a fruitwood table that comfortably seats six, set beside an original inglenook fireplace.
Accommodation
One of the most enchanting features is the children’s ‘secret’ bedroom.
A much-loved favourite in the village. Tucked behind a tiny 1-metre-high doorway, it has a beamed, sloping ceiling and a storybook feel that children adore – they often never want to leave!
Upstairs are 3 double bedrooms (king, double and twin beds), all beds are dressed in crisp white Egyptian cotton linen, promising a restful night’s sleep. Fluffy bathroom towels and swimming towels, hair dryers, and fans are also provided for your comfort.

Our bathrooms are stocked with luxury hotel toiletries.
