Entwined with the cottage is a garden that feels as though it’s always been there. Blooming with lavender and scattered with places to sit, allow yourself to sip and simply be. Whether you’re catching the golden hour on a bench with a book or barefoot on the grass with coffee in hand, the garden is where nature hosts you in her finest way.

THE PONTOON

Set in a picture-perfect riverside setting, Myrtle Cottage has one of its most unique features,

A 12-metre private pontoon, directly accessed from the lawn and reserved exclusively for guests. Whether you bring your own RIB, paddle boards, or kayaks—or hire them locally—you’ll find the river easily accessible, with a slipway just a few hundred metres down the lane and several nearby marinas for added convenience.

OUTDOOR KITCHEN

The outdoor kitchen and dining area is a true highlight, designed for long, relaxed meals with spectacular river views.

Tucked beneath a glass roof entwined with grapevines, the space offers dappled shade by day and romantic ambiance by night. Fully equipped with gas and kettle BBQs, an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, two fridges, and a butler sink with cold water tap, it caters beautifully to both casual and special occasions. Come evening, enjoy the glow of festoon lighting and the warmth of outdoor ceiling heaters as you dine alfresco.
